The Extended Width Armrest provides a wider surface for arms to rest on without increasing armrest height. Allows the arm to bear weight in a normal position without "locking" the arm into a static position. Accommodates individuals with upper extremity edema, flaccidity, or increased tone without the usual risk of skin tears associated with many trays and troughs. The individual can shift position normally in the chair without the usual risk of slippage and damage to the arm and shoulder joint.
