midland® manual parallel bars are designed to fit your department’s area needs. choose from folding (wall-mounted) or floor-mounted units tosave space, or the standard and universal units with styrene-covered, nonslip bases that are durable and easy to clean. all midland® parallelbars featured here are height adjustable, and selected models are also width adjustable, to easily adapt from client to client. attractive stainlesssteelhandrails are wear- and corrosion-resistant. polyurethane-coated uprights provide a distinctive, durable finish. latex free. all midland®parallel bars are backed by midland’s® exclusive, comprehensive five-year warranty.
perfect for clients who require more support and assistance when practicing functional ambulation skills. positioned atop parallel bars, the glider provides assistance to clientswith hemiplegia, extremity or trunk weakness, balance problems or for those who cannot bear weight on their wrists or hands. clients are supported and bear weight on padded forearm platforms that adjust laterally from 9" to 22" (23 - 56 cm) to accommodate clients of varioussizes. the glider adjusts easily without tools and fits both fixed and adjustable-width parallel bars with widths from 15" to 28" (38 - 71 cm). maximum user weight capacity is 300 lb. (136kg).
