the excellent adhesive qualities of orfit® classic ensure that your splint adheres reliably and for a long time. without any glue or solvents, you simply attach hook and loop tape, springs, joints, outriggers or orfitubes®. regardless of whether orfit® classic adheres accidentally or deliberately, you can remove it again simply by heating it in water.

less experienced users can adjust or reduce adhesion by:

  • adding liquid antiseptic to the water in the heating vessel 
  • wetting the patients limbs to prevent orfit classic from sticking to skin or hair
  • putting hand cream on the patient’s limbs.
