a low temperature thermoplastic sheet material for fabrication of orthopedic braces, orthoses, external immobilization devices and rehabilitation aids. orfibrace is applied directly to the patient after it is activated, which is done by heating at a temperature of 65°c (149°f) to 160°c (325°f).

  • partial elastic memory for allowing some remolding 
  • stable plasticity prevents draping during application 
  • coated with a non-stick coating 
  • high rigidity when cooled and good resistance to mechanical strain 
  • can be activated in a splint pan or a convection oven 
  • latex free
  • not suited for applications requiring a lot of detail
