monofilament acts like a tendon, providing dynamic traction for flexion or extension. can be used as a static-progressive component in a flexion or extension splint, as well as following tendon repairs and grafts, crush injuries, nerve repairs and burns and to help reduce ip joint stiffness. includes finger wraps with monofilament, line guide and tension-adjustable connecting piece for one finger and wrist and forearm straps. does not include traction device and splint base. additional monofilament sets are available for treating more than one finger. one size fits most adults. product shown with ulnar gutter splint as base(sold separately). latex free.
