indications include damaged extensor tendon “boutonniere” deformity, volar capsular fibrosis of the ip joint and flexor tendon adherence. the splint is coated with a thin coat of plastisol and includes a strap, which is applied across the dorsum of the finger near the proximal ip joint. tightening increases extension of the joint. for size, measure from pip to dip. latex free.
